Here is all the information you need as Manchester United host Liverpool on Thursday night, with the Red Devils playing their third match in five days and Jurgen Klopp’s men chasing a Champions League spot

Manchester United welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Thursday for a meeting of two English giants.

The match was rearranged from Sunday 2 May after anti-Glazer protests at the Theatre of Dreams escalated and a number of the crowd broke through security and onto the pitch.

That caused the huge encounter to be postponed and squeezed into the schedule.

A heavily-rotated Red Devils hosted Leicester City on Tuesday evening, the team which Jurgen Klopp and Co. are chasing for fourth spot.

Liverpool have four games remaining as they try to finish in the Champions League places, although they are currently on course to compete in the Europa League next season.

There are no fresh injury concerns for the Redmen, who will still be without centre-back trio Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.

What time is Manchester United vs Liverpool?

Kick-off is at 8:15pm on Thursday in one of two Premier League fixtures, following Aston Villa and Everton’s match at 6pm.

Thursday’s game will be shown by Sky Sports.

Coverage of the match will start at 8pm on their Main Event and Premier League channels. Those with subscriptions can stream the game through Sky Go.

What form are the teams in?

The sides last met in the top flight at Anfield in January, playing out a 0-0 draw.

Since then, United have continued their solid season – albeit while trailing Manchester City – but Liverpool have picked up just 23 points from a possible 48.

The teams also met seven days later at the start of the year for an FA Cup fourth-round tie at Old Trafford. The Red Devils won 3-2 thanks to a late Bruno Fernandes free-kick which sent the Redmen out.

Following this one, Liverpool are set to travel to already relegated West Bromwich Albion on Sunday, whereas United will welcome Fulham next Tuesday – with supporters inside the stadium.
